The first exhibit ,”Saving Art – Saving History”, will be at the Ste. Genevieve Art Guild’s new site this Friday, Aug. 23rd, during the August 4th Friday Art Walk. The exhibit will feature newly restored sections of the mural painted by Italian prisoners of war at Camp Weingarten 75 years ago. Preservation and restoration of art is the theme of the exhibit. It will also give people the opportunity to get a “sneak peek” inside the building before renovation.
